For 157 years, Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity has been shaping men to shape the future by promoting scholarship, leadership, and our founding ideal of "The great joy in serving others."  It is important to recognize that membership in Phi Kappa Psi should not merely focus on the past or even the present for that matter, instead, it embraces the promise of our future, which rests squarely with you. Aristotle said, "The fate of empires depends on the education of youth."  The Texas Gamma chapter of Phi Kappa Psi will help promote a well-rounded education within the university setting and seeks to support the national fraternity of Phi Kappa Psi, there brothers own endeavors and aspirations, and the University here at San Marcos. Phi Psi's success today is not accidental or fortuitous. It has been well-planned and is grounded in the fraternal virtues at the core of our organization which are; Honesty, Integrity, Loyalty, Commitment, Service, Consideration and Brotherly Love, which serve as the bedrock of Phi Kappa Psi.  The Texas Gamma Chapter is opening for recruitment and plans only to admit new members whom the chapter feels exemplify the above virtues and will strive for the betterment of the chapter and the university.
