The Interfraternity Council (IFC) at Texas State is the governing body for thirteen fraternities, and is associated with the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC). The IFC’s principle responsibilities are operating a student-run peer judicial system for its member fraternities and coordinating the formal recruitment process. The IFC provides chapters a chance to build relations with each other, unite on issues concerning the Council, and provides an opportunity for student chapter members to excel both inside and outside the classroom.
