Welcome to the beautiful Hill Country and Texas State University. College is an excellent opportunity to expand your outlook on the world and discover where you would like to take your life. Fraternity men at Texas State are held to a higher standard than any other student on campus. You will be expected to make higher grades, set an example in the classroom, be a competitive athlete, involved in the community of San Marcos, and help others that are less fortunate by participating in community service projects. Being a member of a fraternity gives you firsthand experience with politics, management, balancing a budget, event planning, and gives you the tools for a head start competing in the job market after graduation. I feel privileged to have the opportunities that have been afforded me, and I am thankful for the impact that being in a fraternity has made on my life.
